A guide to the different user permission privileges in Woflow - useful when setting up new user accounts

We've updated user permissions to make them more easier to understand.

User types:

  1. Company Admin - full admin rights for the organization

  2. Active User - now auto-selects Training User since all new users should go through Woflow Academy

  3. QA User - Added ability to be able to review menus / make edits and leave feedback and unlock menus

  4. Publish Only - User privileges to just be able to download / publish menus from the Restaurant URL.

  5. Display Only - not in use

Active User 

This is the normal Woflow access user type. It allows full access to Woflow's powerful build and edit menu features including adding new restaurants, menus, uploading sources, creating items and editing items. It also allows the use of PDE if set up for the organization.

Training User: Now when you select Active User it will automatically check Training User as well, since all new users should go through Woflow Academy when they first start working with Woflow.

QA User

This should be selected as well as Active User for any account that needs additional permissions to be able to review menus, re-open completed menus and leaving bookmarks and feedback when they work in the capacity of reviewer / QA specialist on your team.

Publish Only

Set up Publish Only accounts to give uses limited access to Woflow to be able to download menus for your organization / publish via integration where applicable. Users will have a limited view of Woflow:

Admin User

Admin users have access to perform all admin tasks in Woflow, including:

  1. View users

  2. Set up new user accounts

  3. View statistics / analytics of the team, user, menu

  4. Unlock menus
