You should always claim your menu before beginning any transcription work. This will ensure you are credited for your work.

A: The first page you will see when you open your menu is the Menu Version page. 

Navigate to the Menu Pages page and press the blue button that says "Claim this Menu".

Again, this should be your first step before starting to transcribe. If you don't see the blue button, then you probably already claimed the menu! You can check this by going back to the Menu Versions page and seeing if your name is listed under "Author".
