Transitioning away from ReadyPlayerMe
The avatar platform ReadyPlayerMe which has been powering AI Characters in Wonda is being discontinued as of Jan 31, 2026. With this release, we made sure all avatars you’ve created are safe and will continue to work as usual. We also added a new set of default avatars available right now in the media library. A new avatar builder is also coming soon in future releases.
50 new default avatars are now available in the media gallery
ReadyPlayerMe avatar builder has been disabled
No change to existing simulations (all simulations will continue to work as before with the avatars generated prior to the Ready Player Me service sunset
