How can I upgrade my account?

TL;DR Upgrading your account can be done by purchasing add-ons or changing the contacted and stored tier.

How to upgrade your account

While creating your campaign in Woodpecker, you might stumble across one of our tooltips informing you that you cannot use one of the more advanced features, like, for example, API keys & integrations.

In order to unlock additional features and upgrade your account, please go to Marketplace Add-ons and click on the extra feature you are interested in.

After clicking on the chosen add-on, you will see its description and a price that will be added to your billing period.

Once you click on the "Activate add-on" button, you can use newly purchased features immediately. By adding any add-on in the middle of your billing cycle, you will right away pay a fixed price for it since all of our payments are pre-paid.

Upgrading contacted & stored prospects tier

You can also upgrade your account by choosing a higher contacted & stored prospects tier, if you've used your contacted or stored storage in the current billing cycle, allowing you to contact and add more prospects to the database. Check out our guide on Adding and removing slots »

Head to the Billing section and then to the Subscription summary. Click on the "change" link next to the limits section.

Then, proceed with purchasing the higher tier. After choosing your desired setting, confirm the payment by clicking the button below.

The amount you will pay will be the difference between the tier you are switching to and the tier you had, no matter how many days remain until the billing date. For example, moving from a $49 to a $84 plan (on Cold Email product) will result in paying $35 (plus taxes).


How to downgrade your account

If you wish to lower your subscription price, please review your active add-ons, as you might not need all of them to run a successful campaign in Woodpecker.

In case you would like to remove any of them, click on their icon in the Marketplace → Add-ons tab, and under their description, you will see the “Remove add-on” button.

If you remove the add-on in the middle of the billing cycle, the payment difference will be returned to you as a discount for the next subscription period.

You can also downgrade your account by choosing the lower contacted & stored prospects tier. Keep in mind that to do so successfully, the number of stored prospects needs to be equal to the one specified in the tier you're downgrading to or even lower.

If you do not meet this requirement by the end of the current billing cycle, your plan won't be changed.

To do so, head to the Billing section and then to the Subscription summary. Click on the "change" link next to the limits section.

You will be able to select a lower tier if the number of stored prospects in your account matches it.

You will pay nothing for this change; the new price will be active from the new billing period.
