Step 1: Start Reverification
When your documents are close to expiration, you will be asked to reverify these documents. You will receive an email from your company administrator that will ask you to begin Reverification.
Click Start Reverification and sign in to your account with your email and password.
Step 2: Update Documentation
Once logged in, you will see an Action Required alert on your dashboard. You will want to go to your I-9 form and select the Update Documentation button.
Step 3: Choose Your Documentation
Select the document that you need to reverify from either List A or List C and click Next.
Step 4: Upload Your Documentation
You will upload a new, clear picture of the selected document.
Depending on your company’s configuration and the document selected, you may be asked to upload the front and back, the Document Title, Issuing Authority, Document Number, and Expiration Date.
Step 5: Form I-9 In-Person Reverification
You will now begin the in-person verification of the uploaded document, similar to how section 2 was completed.
If you are not with your 3rd-party Authorized Rep, you can select I’ll do this later.
If you are ready, click Begin Now.
You will be asked to share your location to confirm that both devices are in the same location.
If you are unable to share your location, you will be asked to send a text to your Authorized Rep.
Once you send a text to your Authorized Rep, you will be asked to scan the QR code. You will need to allow your device to open up your camera to scan the QR code. If your device does not have a built-in QR scanner, you may need to download one.
Your Authorized Rep will receive this text. They will click the link, and this is where you will scan the QR code on their device.
After the QR code is scanned, they will be asked to enter their name and check the box before they click continue.
They can then begin reviewing the documents and select if it’s a match to the one you are presenting to them in person or not.
After they select Match, they will be asked to sign their name and click Complete Reverification. You will know it was successful if you receive a screen that says it is complete.
When the Authorized Rep is complete, your screen will change to a completed screen as well. If you see this, you have completed your Reverification and are all set to go!
If you have selected I’ll do this later OR Click here if you need to choose a different person and start over OR have not completed the in-person review for whatever reason, you will see an Action Required: alert at the top of your dashboard.
You can either select the “click here” in the alert or “Start Remote Verification” on the form to continue.
