Why is Intensive Cleaning Important?
Irish Übermilk users face unique challenges due to the high quality of fresh Irish milk. While this contributes to superior coffee beverages, it also means more rigorous cleaning is necessary to maintain your machine's performance.
When to Perform an Intensive Clean
Preventative Maintenance: Every 4 weeks, regardless of Flow Test results.
Remedial Action: When Flow Test results indicate milk solid buildup exceeding recommended parameters, and daily cleaning/rinsing cycles don't improve results.
High-Volume Shops: May need to perform this procedure more frequently. Refer to your Flow Test Log for guidance.
Before You Begin
Safety First: Review the Übermilk Detergent Safety Data Sheets to ensure proper handling of cleaning agents.
Time Required: Approximately 75-90 mins. Do not start this procedure unless you have sufficient time to complete it.
Materials Needed: List all required materials (e.g., Detergent #1, Detergent #2, protective gloves, etc.)
