Depending on the role a user has within your company, you may want to restrict or grant them access to specific dashboard widgets. The Administrator of the system can easily modify these permissions.
Click on 'Configuration' in the top menu bar
Then click 'Configuration Dashboard' from the drop down list
Navigate to the Permissions widget and expand it
Expand the list of available widgets by clicking on the arrow next to Widgets
Click on the desired widget from the list of available widgets on the left
The current access status will then appear to the right
If you wish to restrict access, click the drop down arrow and change the status to 'Yes'
You can then determine the level of access by Role, Group, or User by clicking on the '...'
A chooser will then appear and you can make the appropriate selections and click 'OK'
Once the access is updated and the desired Roles, Groups, or Users are added, click 'Save' in the upper right-hand corner
The added users will then see the additional Widget available when they click 'Add Widget' on their dashboard
