The Job Ticket provides an overview of information on a job. The Job Ticket can be customized with specific fields to meet your organization’s needs.

Generally, a Job Ticket will contain the sections Job Info and Schedule Summary with the following fields.

The Job Info section contains:

  • Job Number - This field is auto-generated by Workgroups and cannot be changed once a job has been created. Often this field is handy to use as an identifier when pulling up a job in a New Browser or in Finds.

  • Job Name - The name of the job

  • Job Type - The type of job. The list of Job Types in the drop down are tailored to your organization’s needs as the list is created during the implementation process.

  • Customer - Customer of the job. The list of customers is also created by your organization and can be tailored to fit your organization’s needs.

  • Requested by - The person who requested or created the job

  • Entry date - Date the Request for the job was entered or when the job was created (if the job was not created through a request)

  • Project - When the job is part of a larger project, the name of the project will be shown in this field

  • Notes - A multi-line text field to enter notes

The Schedule Summary section contains:

  • Manager Notes - managers can click on this and leave persistent notes for anyone looking at the job ticket

  • Activity Name - this shows you which activity of the job is currently active

  • Progress Bar - this shows you percent of the job that has been completed
