After migrating your volumes and files to a new file server, volume path information needs to be updated to indicate the new location of your files. Changing volume properties is a simple process which can be performed from the Digital Resource properties window of the volume record. To make the necessary changes, perform the following steps:
Test Choose Find Digital Resources > New from the tools menu.
Choose your Digital Resource entry form.
Use the following criteria: File Location equals . (Enter a single space into the value field.)
Click search. A listing of all volumes in the database will appear.
Double-click the desired volume. A browser window will open displaying the volume information. Click the Properties button located in the upper middle of the browser window.
Click Change and enter the name or IP address of the server where the volume is located into the Located on Server field.
Click OK and Save.
