The MetaCommunicatios Server Configurator provides administrators with an intuitive, easy to locate tool for performing common administrative tasks against the database. The Server Configurator contains the following functionality:

  • Entering new licenses

  • Creating new databases

  • Upgrade databases to the latest version

  • Attaching a database

  • Detaching a database

Setup Web Portal URL and Proof Storage location

  • Default location is C:\ProgramData\MetaCommunications\Workgroups Portal\{db_name}\data_storage\{db_name}

  • Setting up Reporting Services

  • Adding SMTP server

  • Setup Admin account

  • Configuring InterSync for use with a specific database

The Server Configurator is installed into the MetaCommunications Program menu on the Application Server.

โ€‹NOTE: Launching the MetaCommunications Server Configurator will stop the MetaCommunications Application Server Service and any relevant InterSync services on the computer where it is launched.
