The File Storage directory is used by Approval Manager (Proofer Part of Workgroups) and contains all versions of proof files uploaded to the system. Because it can contain a large amount of files that take up a large amount of hard drive space, we recommend that you change the location of the File Storage directory.
To move the location of the File Storage directory perform the following steps:
find proof directory. location is in Server Configurator under Configure -> Workgroups Portal
Set your new location using the Choose button (directories below will automatically created)
Above Example has the File Storage on the the D Drive -> in a folder named Proof Files -> Environment identifier(Live)
Hit next until configuration is finished.
Copy the files and appearance folder to the new File Storage location (replacing the automatically created ones in the new location). There should be a appearance folder and files folder. If you see the database name you need to go down a level.
Once copy is finished, proof files will be accessible from the Portal/Proofer
