Sessions 1-3 were focused on helping you learn the basics of workgroups, especially the process of creating Jobs.
While many of our clients are content to only run Jobs in Workgroups DaVinci, other customers have a need to group related jobs together under a larger initiative, or umbrella.
We call them Projects.

Projects in Workgroups
begin
a job does, as a request from an internal or external customer. Or, they can be created outside of request. For example, if you do a weekly newsletter
you might create a project called 2017 newsletter.

Once a Project is requested or created, the requestor and others can begin to add Jobs to that project. Using our newsletter example, possible Jobs would be January Newsletter, February Newsletter, etc.
Another example would be an event. The event itself would be the project and all of the print and digital collateral for the event would comprise the individual jobs in the project.
It also important to understand that Projects can have their own Workflows as well.
