A project must always have a project owner, since the project owner has permissions that other project team members do not.

The project creator will become the default project owner if they do not denote another user as the project owner during the project creation process.

In the case of projects that originate as requests, the request approver will become the default project owner if they do not denote another user as the project owner during the approval process.

To change a project owner, simply click on the 'Details' tab in your project:
