The holidays are here, and so is the newest Workgroups DaVinci Pro feature release.

There are several presents (new enhancements) to unwrap, so let's get started.

Project and Task Enhancements

Schedule recalculation

You now will have the option of recalculating waterfall workflows when you make a change to one of the task due dates.

Additionally, adjusting the duration on tasks will recalculate the project workflow.

Color coded due dates

Know quickly which projects and tasks are late, due today, or due in the future with red, yellow and green visual cues.

Due Date Notifications

And if that's not enough, our new due date notifications will provide you a daily reminder of what's due that day.

Change task status on the global tasks page

Now, you can change the status of tasks directly from the global tasks page; just click on the status icon (this applies to any task in an agile workflow, as well as "In Progress" tasks on waterfall workflows)

Enhancements to Proofs and Files

Upload multiple proof files at once

Need to load more than one proof file at a time for review? No problem, just highlight the files and load them all at once.

Proof and Files size limit increase

Speaking of proofs, you can load even your largest proof and project files. Workgroups DaVinci Pro now supports loading of individual files up to 4GB per file.

We've also added a visible progress bar so you know
how your uploads are progressing.

We've also added several other enhancements to Workgroups DaVinci Pro, including:

The ability for administrators to deactivate OR delete users and bulk re-assign their in-progress and upcoming tasks (this feature is the next step in our work towards GDPR compliance)
Notifications when tasks assigned to deleted users start
The ability to delete "In Progress" tasks on agile workflows
Technical work designed to improve how Workgroups loads the Projects and Tasks widgets
File downloads will now have the exact name they were uploaded with
Adding the "Project Type" information to notifications
The project's "Description Field" is now visible on the "Details" tab
Text will retain line formatting in muti-line text fields
If a task or project you've been notified is deleted, your sidebar notification(s) about that project or task, will go away also.
Creating tasks on Projects or Workflow (Task Group) templates is now a similar experience.
