Its June and we have some awesome new features to kick off the summer.
Check them out below or access a pdf version HERE.

First, we want to hear what new features you want to see in Workgroups DaVinci Pro.
Because of that, you can now make and vote on feature requests in the application.
Here's how you do it:
Look at the top toolbar and click on the "?" icon and then click "Support Chat" in the dropdown.
When the chat window at the bottom opens up, you'll see the option to "Share Feedback."
We're so excited to read your feedback.
Now, let's talk about some of the awesome features we've added to Workgroups DaVinci Pro this month.
"Make your decision" button
Now, when a reviewer opens up a proof, they'll see a "Make your decision" button above the top right hand corner of the proof. Click the button and make your decision! |
Project Hub redesign
We've redesigned the Project Hub, including moving the activity feed to the right side to more closely resemble the Proofer activity/comments feed. |
Ability to add "Observers" to projectIf you have users or collaborators that need visibility of a project but aren't project owners or task assignees, you can now add them as an observer and they will have the same level of visibility that a requestor has.
Just click on the "+" button to the right of the "Observers" section in the project hub.
Note: This means that collaborative users will now have a Project tab in their menu sidebar. They won't be able to see or be assigned to the workflow, but will be able to see Project info and the public comments in the activity feed. You asked for it, and we are thrilled to give it to you. |
Task sidebar functionality |
Now when you add a new task to a project, its easier than ever to build your workflow with or without your trackpad or mouse.
|
More info on Project FilesNow you can add more identifiers to your project files than just their name and size. You can:
Just click the hamburger menu next to the download button, and then click edit. |
Help Text on your forms
Now, you can add help text to your Project & Request forms.
In the form builder, simply check the "Apply help text" box and add your help text. Now, when users are filling out Project or Request forms, they can get extra direction to ensure they are providing the best info possible. |
We hope you love these new features and look forward to sharing more new stuff with you in July!
