Setting up your profile is quick and easy. When logged in, you will see a progress bar on the screen, and your profile strength will increase as you complete your profile.

Once your profile is complete, you can start browsing and booking consultations with migration specialists.
Finding a migration specialist
Once your profile is complete, you can browse Migration Marketplace and search for migration specialists.
You can search based on details such as:
location
area of practice
industry
specialist profile information
consultation availability
consultation fee
Each migration specialist profile may include:
Profile detail | Description |
Specialist name | The migration specialist or business contact |
Business name | The migration business or organisation |
Location | The specialist’s office or service location |
About section | Information about the specialist or business |
Areas of practice | Visa categories or migration services they work with |
Industries | Industries they commonly support |
Rating or reviews | Feedback, if available |
Consultation fee | The cost of the consultation |
Availability | Available times for booking |
Use this information to decide whether the specialist may be suitable for your needs.
Booking Consultations
Now that you've completed your profile, you are ready to freely browse the marketplace and find a migration specialist that is suitable for your needs.
1. Open the specialist profile
When you find a migration specialist you are interested in, open their profile.
Review their:
about information
areas of practice
industries
location
consultation fee
available booking option
2. Select Book a consultation
On the specialist profile, select Book a consultation. This will open the specialist’s consultation availability. The consultation page will show available dates and time slots.
3. Choose a date and time
Select a date from the calendar. Then choose an available consultation time. Consultations are usually shown as available time slots, such as 30-minute sessions.
4. Select Book now
Once you have chosen a suitable time, select Book now.
You will then be taken to the payment screen to complete the booking.
5. Complete payment
Review the consultation fee and payment details before confirming your booking.
Once payment is completed, your consultation booking will be created.
Review Booked Consultations
After booking a consultation, you can review the booking from your account. To view your consultations:
Log in to your account.
Select Migration from the left-hand menu.
Open the Consultations tab.
You will see information such as:
Field | Description |
Migration specialist name | The specialist you booked with |
Booking schedule | The date and time of your consultation |
Fee / status | The consultation fee and payment status |
Booking status | Whether the booking is upcoming, overdue, or completed |
Outcome | The consultation outcome status |
Action | Options to view or manage the booking |
Feel free to contact the migration specialist through the integrated chat box within the booking. Use the message box to send relevant questions or information before the consultation.
You may want to ask about:
what documents to prepare
what topics will be covered
whether the specialist needs additional information
any questions about the consultation process
Avoid sending sensitive information unless you are comfortable doing so and understand how it will be used.
Rescheduling a consultation
If rescheduling is available, you may see a Reschedule option inside the consultation details page.
To reschedule:
Open Migration.
Go to Consultations.
Open the relevant booking.
Select Reschedule.
Choose a new available date and time.
Confirm the change.
If you cannot reschedule through the platform, contact the migration specialist or support for assistance.
Tips before your consultation
To get the most value from your consultation, prepare before the meeting.
You may want to have:
your passport details
current visa details, if applicable
visa grant notice, if applicable
resume
qualification documents
work experience details
English test results, if applicable
skills assessment documents, if applicable
questions you want to ask
details about your goals in Australia
The documents you need may depend on your situation and the type of advice you are seeking.
Troubleshooting
I cannot book a consultation
Check that you are logged in and that your profile has been created.
Also check that the migration specialist has available time slots. If no times are available, try another specialist or check again later.
I cannot find a suitable migration specialist
Try searching by different criteria, such as location, area of practice, or industry.
You can also review multiple profiles before deciding who to book with.
I have booked a consultation but cannot find the details
Go to Migration > Consultations to view your booked consultations.
Open the relevant booking to see the date, time, meeting link, status, and message area.
I cannot find the meeting link
Open your consultation booking from the Migration section.
The meeting link should appear in the booking details if it has been generated or provided.
I need to message the migration specialist
Open the consultation booking and use the message area to contact the specialist.
I need to change my consultation time
Open the booking and select Reschedule if the option is available.
If the option is not available, contact the migration specialist or support.
