Be consistent

You don’t have to be the fastest, strongest or fittest person around, but if you want to enjoy all of the benefits of being fit and healthy, you will need to be consistent and make exercise a regular part of your life. It has to become as routine as brushing your teeth, or eating dinner. You shouldn’t skip either of those, and that same rule should apply to working out. Whether you prefer to hit the treadmill, swim laps, walk the dog, or roller blade with the family, no exercise regime in the world is going to work if you don’t follow it regularly and consistently.
