Workstream now automatically syncs all-day events from your Outlook Calendar, so your availability is always up to date. Only events marked as “Busy” or “Out of Office” will block interview times—events marked as “Free” won’t affect your availability, allowing applicants to book during those slots.
By connecting your Outlook Calendar with Workstream, you can view all your schedules in one place.
📌 You can connect multiple calendars at once, allowing you to link both your Outlook Calendar and Google Calendar. This ensures that interviews will only be scheduled when you're truly available, helping to avoid conflicts.
Connecting your Outlook Calendar account.
Connect Outlook Calendar
Select your profile at the top-right corner.
Select Account settings.
Select Sign in with Outlook, then sign in to your account.
Review Workstream’s access to your Outlook account, then select Accept.
Set up your calendar settings
Reload Workstream’s page. Press F5 on your keyboard, or select refresh ⟳ at the top of your browser window.
Scroll down on the Scheduling tab.
If you've added your team members' calendars to Outlook, just pick whose calendar you want to see on your Workstream schedule. Go to Displayed Calendars and select the calendar you want to show.
(Optional) Turn on Conflict Avoidance to make sure you don't schedule two events at the same time.
Turn on Sync to Outlook Calendar to add confirmed interviews to your Outlook Calendar.

When you turn on Conflict Avoidance, applicants can’t schedule interviews on your time slots
If you already have a scheduled time slot, and something is scheduled on Outlook Calendar, the event and time slot will still be there and active
If applicants can still schedule interviews on blocked days in your Outlook Calendar, it's because you need to set a specific start and end time for those blocks
To avoid scheduling problems, simply create an event for the day and specify the time range
Check Outlook Calendar
Go to your Outlook Calendar.
Note: You should see the new Workstream Calendar. If you don’t, reload Outlook Calendar.

Refresh your connection with Outlook Calendar
Experiencing issues syncing your Outlook Calendar with Workstream? To resolve this, follow these steps to refresh your connection.
Sign out of Outlook Calendar, then sign back in.
Disconnect Outlook Calendar from Workstream.
In Outlook Calendar, remove all instances of Workstream Calendar.
Return to Workstream and connect to Outlook Calendar.
Refresh Outlook Calendar and ensure that Workstream is enabled.
