Connect and set up Paychex Flex

Connect Paychex Flex with Workstream to sync employee data seamlessly and simplify your onboarding to payroll process.

Connecting Paychex Flex with Workstream and vice versa ensures a smooth data flow between your onboarding and payroll systems.

Once the integration is set up, new hire details entered in Workstream can automatically sync with Paychex Flex, keeping your payroll records accurate and up to date without manual effort.


Connect Paychex Flex to Workstream

To connect with Paychex Flex, we need to add it to your Workstream account first.

  1. The Super Admin needs to send a request to help@workstream.is. Make sure to include these information on the request:

    • Email subject (Connect Paychex Flex to Workstream)

    • Workstream company name

    • Paychex Flex company IDs

      Paychex Flex company ID

      Note: Your Customer Success Manager will work with Paychex to have it added to your Workstream account. This can take up to 3 business days.

  2. You’ll receive an approval link to connect your Workstream account with Paychex Flex. Follow the instructions to connect. If the approval link doesn’t work, connect Workstream to Paychex Flex.


Connect Workstream to Paychex Flex

Here’s how to turn on Workstream within Paychex Flex.

  1. Sign in to Paychex Flex.

  2. Go to ⚙️ Settings, then select Integrated apps.

  3. You should see the Workstream app with an "Access Requested" notice.

  4. Turn on the Workstream app.

  5. Review and agree to the legal notice.

  6. Select Save.
