The SMS messages widget makes it easy to send real-time SMS updates, reply to applicant messages, and chat with team members, all without leaving your current task or switching tabs.

Access the SMS messages widget
You’ll find the SMS messages widget in the bottom-right corner of your screen. It contains a small control menu with three buttons:
✉️ New chat
Start a new chat
Choose to message Applicants or Team members
Search by name to begin the conversation
^ Expand widget
Open the full chat panel
View and continue existing conversations
⌄ Minimize Widget
Collapse the widget to just the chat icon
Keeps your screen clean while keeping chat accessible
Send or continue an SMS conversation
📌 SMS messages are limited to 300 characters (about 2 texts). For longer updates, consider using email.
Send a new message
Select the New message icon.
Choose the Applicants or Team members tab.
Search and select the contact.
Type your message, then select the arrow icon to send the message.
Continue a message
Select the Expand button to open the SMS Messages widget.
Select a thread from the list.
Type and send your message.
Take action from a chat thread
💡 Use the three-dot menu (⋯) in any chat thread to manage the conversation or view more details. The available options depend on who you're messaging.
When chatting with applicants
View message history - Open full applicant profile and see all of their application details
Archive the conversation - Remove the thread from your active list.
When chatting with team members
Open employee profile - View their location, position, and other employee details
