Workstream US app for Managers — Create, assign, and track tasks with forms, due dates, and repeats to keep your team on track.

The Workstream US app lets you create and assign tasks with clear details, attachments, and due dates.

Tasks can include forms and be divided into sections for managers, employees, and reviewers, ensuring accountability at each step. You can also set tasks to repeat on a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual basis for recurring needs.

  1. Open the Workstream US app.

  2. Tap Work, then Tasks.

  3. Tap the ⊕ New Task icon.

  4. Fill out the task details

    1. Task title: Give this task a title. Be clear and specific.

    2. Description (optional): Add context or instructions. You can also attach a photo.

    3. Attach form: Tap this to open a categorized list of forms. Then choose the appropriate one for the task.

  5. Tap Next.

  6. If the form has multiple sections (like in a write-up or multi-step checklist), each section must be assigned separately. You can assign different parts to a manager, a team member, or a follow-up reviewer.

    1. Introduction section (Manager)

      1. Assignee: Automatically assigned to you. Tap your name to change it to another manager or admin.

      2. Due date: Set when this part should be completed.

    2. Main section (Employee)

      1. Assignee: Tap Assign someone and choose the employee involved. If you don’t select someone, it defaults to “Everyone.”You can assign individuals, multiple people, or assign by job title or location.

      2. Due date: Set when this part should be completed.

    3. Follow-up section (Manager)

      1. Assignee: Choose someone responsible for reviewing the employee’s response and documenting any coaching or escalation.When selecting multiple people, you’ll be prompted to choose an assignment setting: Everyone must complete or Any one person can complete.

      2. Due date: Set when this part should be completed.

    4. ✅ Done assigning? Tap Assign to send it out.

  7. (Optional) Make the task repeat if it needs to happen regularly, like a weekly deep clean or a monthly check-in.

    1. Tap the Due date in any section.

    2. Toggle on Repeating task.

    3. Choose a frequency:

      • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Annually.

    4. Set how many times it should repeat under Repeats for. Only numbers are allowed in this field.
