Schools, employers, or government agencies will often want to check if a TESOL document is genuine.

It's very simple to verify if a TESOL certificate is genuine or a fake. Each certificate has several unique identification marks that make is easy to authenticate.

Simply follow this process below:

1. Open the “certificate verification” page from the site footer: https://www.worldtesolacademy.com/certificate-verification/

This can be easily found in the links listed at the bottom of every page on the website.

2. Carefully complete the form details:

The form is split into two sections, the first section collects the contact details for the person who is checking the certificate.

  • Your name: This should be the name of the person who is verifying the certificate.

  • Email: The email of the person checking the certificate so that we can email the results to them.

The second part of the form collects the certificate details so that we can check if they match the records in the system.

  • Certificate number: this is found in the bottom-right corner of your certificate.

  • Certificate name: this is the name written across the middle of the certificate.

After submitting the form, we will review the request and email the school/employer back using the email address they had entered.

||| Note: this verification form is for employers, schools, or governments to use. If you are a teacher, you do not need to use this verification form for your own certificate.
