An unofficial transcript is a scanned copy of your transcript that you personally upload during the application process. At the time of your application, this is sufficient as long as the scanned transcript demonstrates the type of degree earned, your graduation date, and your cumulative GPA from the previously completed degree program.

An official transcript is a copy of your transcript that is submitted directly from your previous institution to WorldQuant University rather than being submitted by you personally. The official transcript includes the official grading scale adopted by your previously attended institution, your GPA, and the credit hours earned for each completed course. Official transcripts must be signed by the appropriate university official.

Once you've been admitted to the MScFE program, we recommend that you arrange the submission of your official transcript via your previous University right away. Official transcripts can be submitted via email or by postal mail.
