If you are no longer able to complete your coursework in weeks 2 or 3 of a course, you can use the Registration Tool to withdraw from your course. Similarly, if you do not complete any activities during that time, you will be automatically withdrawn. Withdrawals are included in your transcript and count against the Maximum Time Frame (MTF) of 3 years to complete the Program. If you are fully matriculated*, you may use a maximum of 2 Withdrawals over the duration of the entire MScFE program.

You can access the Registration Tool via the "My Path" navigation:

The Registration Tool keeps track of your course Cancellations, Withdrawals, Leaves of Absence (LOA), and more:

*NOTE: Students are considered fully matriculated once they have successfully completed the MScFE560 Financial Markets course and submitted their official transcripts. If you are a new student who is enrolled in MScFE560 Financial Markets and wish to withdraw from the course, your Withdrawal will not count against the Maximum Time Frame (MTF) or appear in your transcript. You may use up to 2 Withdrawals for this course.

For a more detailed visualization of the registration process and the rules surrounding it, please review the graphic below. You can download it and/or open it in a new tab to enlarge it.
