To request an extension for a Group Work Project, you will need to submit a ticket to Student Support by using the chatbot in the bottom right corner of this page.

The request must be received by Student Support at least 2 business days prior to the deadline for sufficient review time.

As a part of the request, one member of the group must download and complete this GWP Extension Request Form and submit it on behalf of the group. When filling out the form, be as specific as possible regarding the reasons for your request and include any supporting evidence that could help Student Support to determine whether or not the extension request will be honored.

48-hour extensions will be granted to groups left with one (1) team member only, or groups of two students if the third member left the team close to the GWP submission deadline.

The extension request form must be received prior to the GWP submission deadline. Failure to do so will result in extension denial unless there is evidence of extenuating circumstances.

Note that completing and submitting an extension request form does not guarantee that the extensions will be granted.
