Wrapped works to wrap digital and physical gift cards together so they can be used as one across all your sales channels.
If you currently sell physical gift cards in-store there are a couple of things to check first to ensure your physical gift card codes are suitable:
Randomly generated (this helps keep codes secure)
Alpha-numerical digits
Barcode that works with your POS scanner and maps to the gift card code (if scanners are used in-store)
They meet sales channel integration requirements
Physical gift card codes must meet the sales channel requirements for your POS and eCommerce, or they will fail to sync to Wrapped. Please check the requirements outlined in step 4 carefully.
If your physical gift cards meet all criteria above, they can continue to be used by following the instructions outlined below for your POS integration.
How to use physical gift cards at POS
Wrapped has been built to work with existing processes for selling and accepting gift cards. Simply scan the gift card or enter the code at POS to activate/sell and accept as payment. See detailed instructions here:
Customers can redeem their physical gift cards online by entering the unique gift card code on the physical card at checkout.
If your existing physical cards do not meet the requirements above or you need new physical gift cards printed - you can bulk generate a batch of gift card codes and send them to a card printer.
