Teachers can require students to both write and review in Writable assignments. Revision and Editor points are a way to help motivate students to do their best work in both cases.
What are Editor Points?
Students receive editor points when they provide a useful comment in a review that the writer 'hearts' and uses in a revision. (See: How do students see peer review feedback?)
If a peer has marked a comment as helpful, the reviewer will see Editor points on the assignment dashboard in the 'Review' tile.
What are Revision Points?
Students earn Revision Points when reviewers indicate that they have addressed the comments they chose for revision. Reviewers do this by choosing a face next to the comment while reviewing. (See: How do students complete peer reviews?)
When a writer returns to their dashboard, they’ll see Revision Points on the left side, under 'Read & Write'.
