Can I recover lost student writing?

Restore previous versions of writing in both Writable and Google Docs.

Updated over a week ago

If a student thinks they've lost their work, you can follow the steps below to help to restore their writing.

Tip! The very first thing you may want to have a student try is "Command + Z" (on a Mac) or "CTRL + Z" (on a PC) to undo their last action. Often, students accidentally delete their work and this will bring it back immediately!

Note: if a student is typing into a Graphic Organizer, they will need to highlight text in the organizer to bring up the formatting toolbar.
