When you and your students initially access Writable from Schoology, or you log into Writable using 'Sign in with Schoology' for the first time, you will be asked to connect a Google or Microsoft account. We strongly encourage you and your students to make this connection to prevent users from having two separate Writable accounts.
If you did not connect your Writable account to Google or Microsoft during the initial login process, you and your students can make the connection by following these steps:
1. From your account in Writable, click your profile picture in the upper right corner.
2. Click 'Account Details' in the dropdown.
3. In Account Details, click 'Add More Logins'.
4. Click 'Sign In with Google' or 'Sign in with Microsoft' and use the account that is connected with your district/school login. Click 'Done' when you've finished.
If you or your students choose to SKIP connecting an account, your students' assignments may show up in two places (making them harder to manage), especially if:
You have used Writable during the previous school year
You have created an account in the past at app.writable.com
