Currently, administrators in HMH Ed cannot launch Connected Programs and view content. If you are an Administrator, you will need to set up a teacher account in Ed and then launch Writable to view your HMH content, including Into Reading and Into Literature assignments.

Follow these steps to add a teacher account to Ed or click here to view the guidance from the HMH Support site.

To add a new teacher account in Ed:

1. Log in to your Ed Admin account.

2. On the 'My Schools' page, click 'Create User'.

3. Complete the required fields in the 'Create New User Account' window.

  • Choose 'Teacher' for Type of User

  • You will need to enter a unique username. You can use the same email as your Ed Administrator account.

4. Click Save. A message appears confirming that the teacher has successfully been added.

5. Click the X to close the message.

6. You will receive an email with a link to to setup your password. Once you've compelted that, now you will log in to your new Ed Teacher account. Navigate to www.hmhco.com/one and enter your credentials.

7. From Ed, click the 'Discover', select the program and grade level for the assignments you would like to access. If you would like to access assignments for multiple programs and grade levels, this requires logging in once per program and grade to obtain those assignments in your Writable account. Click Connected Solutions, then the Writable icon to login.

8. When prompted to Connect an Account, it is highly recommended to sign in at this time, to avoid creating a duplicate account. If you've signed into Writable previously with Google or Microsoft, sign in with that same email to connect your account at this time.

❗️Note! If you have already created a Writable Administrator account, you may need to have your new Ed teacher account merged with your existing Writable account. Reach out to our team at support@writable.com or directly in Live Support to combine your accounts into a single Writable account.
