Follow these steps to sync your current class roster in Google Classroom with your Google Classroom class in Writable.

  1. Log into your Google Classroom account.

  2. Select the Google Classroom class in which you would like to sync with Writable.

  3. Under the 'Stream' or 'Classwork' tabs, click on the Writable assignment link.

❗Note: You may be prompted to log into Writable. Please choose 'I'm a teacher' and use the 'Sign in with Google ' option.

  4. Click on the 'Classes' tab located on the Writable navigation menu. You’ll see all of your imported Google Classroom courses/sections listed with the Google Classroom icon.

  5. Click on a class to expand the roster, and confirm that all students are enrolled in the correct classes.

Student names listed in blue text indicates students are active in the class, because they have accessed Writable from Google Classroom. However, if they have not launched the Writable assignment from Google Classroom, their names will appear in gray text. This indicates they are inactive in Writable.

💡Tip: If you add/remove students from your Google Classroom rosters, you can update your Google Classroom class rosters in Writable by repeating these steps. If you do not see your updated rosters, please log out and log back into Writable.
