Creating a group of short-response questions allows you to set up multi-part questions and organize your Writable assignment, keeping students focused on one question at a time.
From My Assignments click on the assignment and then click Edit.
Scroll down to the sections of the assignment. If you have not created a short response section yet, click the + icon to create a new section. Otherwise, click 'Edit Section'.
Click 'Add Entry'.
Click ‘Advanced’ in the top right corner, then choose ‘Group’.
Click ‘Next’. The group will show as a new entry. This indicates a separate tab in the short response section. You can add a title to the tab in the text box.
Click ‘Add Entry’.
Choose your question type and continue creating your first question.
Click ‘Add Entry’ again to add more questions to this group/tab.
Click ‘Add Entry’, then ‘Advanced’, and choose ‘Group’ to create a new tab or group of questions. You can repeat this process multiple times to create tabbed questions in your section.
