Sharing Wudpecker calls with others is a simple process. Sharing the calls makes collaboration easier, allowing everyone to stay informed and make necessary adjustments.

There are two options you can share Wudpecker’s meeting notes.

(Click on the first photo to view it better. Read more in-depth explanations further below)

Option 1: Through a Direct URL Link

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Navigate to the call you want to share within your Wudpecker account.

Step 2: Either copy the URL address from the search bar in the browser, or click on "Share", then "Copy URL"

Step 3: Paste the link to share the notes with anyone, anywhere you'd like.

The link can be shared with both Wudpecker and non-Wudpecker users.

Any edits or changes made by the sender will also update recipient’s version.

Note: Even if the recipient is a Wudpecker user, the call will not be automatically added to their account. In order to do that, the call needs to be shared via email.

Option 2: Via Email

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Navigate to the call you want to share within your Wudpecker account.

Step 2: Click on the "Share" button.

Step 3: Add recipient(s).

  • Type in the email address of the person you want to share the call with.

  • Press "Enter" to add the email address.

  • Repeat this step for each additional email address.

Step 4: Click the "Share" button once more.

Recipients will receive an email about the notes being shared with them. Those without their own Wudpecker account will only be able to read and listen to a non-editable version of the notes.

Those with a Wudpecker account, on the other hand, also receive the notes in their account in My Calls. They can add the call to their own collections, edit the notes, and use the Ask Wudpecker feature for that call.

Note: Any edits or changes made by the recipient (who is a Wudpecker user) will not affect the original version on your account.

Also, any additional edits made in the original notes by the sender will not affect the recipient’s copy who has a Wudpecker account. On top of that, the Ask Wudpecker chat history (before or after sharing) is always personal to each user and won't be shown in other accounts.

But if the recipient is not a Wudpecker user, then the notes will be updated if the sender makes any changes in the original version.
