What happens if there are different languages spoken in the same meeting?

The meeting notes are in English by default, but transcription is able to show the original language that was spoken. However, it's limited to one language only.

So, for example, let’s imagine people spoke Swahili and English in a meeting. Wudpecker understands both languages, but depending on your settings and which language was spoken the most, it will choose one over the other for the transcript.

If you're not happy with the quality of the transcript, you can change its language. After that, if you update your notes, the summary might also make more sense based on a better quality transcript.

Wudpecker produces the best notes and summaries in English, and that's why it's the default language for the summary. We are constantly testing the quality of the notes in local languages before releasing them for general availability.
