Yes, Wudpecker can join meetings for you even if you're not attending, provided you've set the notetaker to join that meeting automatically.

This ensures that no important details are missed, even when you can't be present.

How It Works

Step 1: Go to Settings

Step 2: Go to Notetaker default joining rules section

Step 3: Choose Everything if you would like the notetaker to join every meeting by default

Step 4 (Optional): You can also just toggle on a single upcoming call for Wudpecker to join. It gives you the flexibility to choose which calls Wudpecker should join and vice versa.

Step 5: Host Admits the Bot. The meeting host needs to admit the Wudpecker bot into the meeting. Without this step, the bot won't be able to join and record the session.

Step 6: Once the meeting is done, Wudpecker automatically starts processing the notes and you can access them from your Wudpecker account when you are available.

Note: If there are several Wudpecker users in the same meeting, all their bots will be combined into one. So only one bot will be visible instead of too many bots.
