Whether you're capturing a meeting, brainstorming session, or even an impromptu discussion, Wudpecker’s Android app has you covered. It allows you to record audio directly from your phone, giving you the flexibility to record any conversation, wherever you are.

Here’s what this means:

  • No need to be tied to your computer—you can record directly from your phone.

  • Record as many sessions as you want, all for free.

  • Pause anytime, or discard the recording if needed, ensuring your privacy is maintained.

Once the recording is done, switch to the browser to dive deeper into the content—read the AI-generated summary, listen to the recording, or ask AI specific questions about the meeting.

Here's how to record your meetings in 6 simple steps with the iPhone app.

Setting up the app and your account

Step 1: Go to App Store and search for Wudpecker. When you find the “Wudpecker In-Person” app, install it on your phone.

Step 2: Sing up or sign in to Wudpecker with your Microsoft or Google account. (A browser tab will automatically open for that).

Step 3: Give microphone access to record your meetings.

Using the app

Step 4: Start recording. Pause and continue the recording any time, in case you don't want certain parts to stay on record.

Step 5: Once you’re done, end the recording.

Step 6: Name the recording and press Upload. Wudpecker automatically starts processing the notes and saves them for you in your Wudpecker account. You can access the notes in the browser. We recommend using a laptop or computer for the browser version.
