1- Info bar
You'll use this info bar for announcements on your store EX. New discount, Free shipping....
From the store dashboard, go to appearance, then info bar
You can enable or disable the info bar
You can activate the 2nd button which enables/disable the user to close this bar
*Activate the 2nd button means that the visitor can close the info bar*
*Disable the button means that the visitor can't close the info bar*
Choose the background color of this bar
After editing, you will save changes, and preview the store
2- Main Slider
You can control the images in your main page slider by going to Appearance, then Main slider, and start adding slides
Add an image for Desktop and Mobile in the suggested size and ratio
Choose text color alignment and type the heading
Type sub-heading to be shown below the heading, choose the text size
You can activate buttons to direct the client to specific actions
Let's activate one button in this slide, type the displayed text in the button, choose the destination of this button from (Shop, Product, collection, or external link) to direct the client to a specific action when clicking on the button:
Let's add another slide by following the same steps and Save changes after finishing
Now, you can preview the store slider
3- Navigation
From the store dashboard, go to Appearance, then Navigation, you'll see the main 3 menu items (Home/Shop/contact)
Click on Add menu item
You'll find the menu item types you can add (Store page /Collection/Product/Legal page/External link/E-mail address/Phone no)
You can choose the first option (Store page) if you remove one of the main 3 store pages (Home/Shop/Contact) and you want to restore it again
For Example, you removed the Shop page, and you want to restore it again.
Here, we'll choose Shop as a Main menu, then Add
Let's add a collection to appear in the main menu of the store.
Choose Collection from the menu item type, then choose the collection you want to add from your collections, Name it, then choose to make it as a Main Menu page or as a subpage from the main 3 items (Home/Shop/Contact)
Here, we'll choose this collection to be a subpage from Shop, then Add
Let's add a product to appear in the main menu of the store.
Choose Product from the menu item type, then choose the product you want to add from your products, Name it, then choose to make it as a Main Menu Page or as a subpage from the remaining pages.
Here, we'll choose this product to be a parent from Shop, then Add
Save changes, then Preview store
You can find the main 3 items (Shop/ Women/ T-shirt), the collection, and the product you added
We can do the same steps for the remaining menu item types (Legal page/External link/E-mail address/Phone no)
Navigation (Folder)
To create an unclickable page that contains subpages, we choose Folder from the menu item types
From the store dashboard, go to Appearance, then Navigation. Click on Add menu item
Choose Folder from menu item types
Name it, choose the parent to be a Main menu with the main 3 menu types (Home/Shop/Contact), then Add
Let's add 2 collections in this folder (Women/Men)
Click on Add menu item
Choose Collection from the menu item types, Choose the collection you want (Women), then name it and choose the parent to be the folder we created (Summer collection), then Add
Add another collection by following the same steps
Save changes, then Preview store
We can see that Summer collection isn't clickable, and this folder includes Women and men collections we added
4- Homepage about
You can type anything you want to be displayed on the home page, then Save changes
Add video to the store home page
You can also add a video in the same space ⬇
1- Go to YouTube and open the video, copy the link
2- Go to your store, follow the steps clarified in the screenshot
3- paste the link, control the dimensions, then Save
4- Save changes
5- Homepage collection
Go to homepage collection, you can add specific collections to the store's homepage
Choose how many collections to be displayed per row. You can have from one collection and up to four collections per row.
Click on 'Add collection' and choose the collections.
After adding collection, click on Save changes
6- Homepage products
Go to 'Homepage products' to choose the products that will appear on the homepage
Choose one collection and the products inside that collection will appear on the homepage, then define how many products will be shown on the Home page.
Then, Save changes
7- Footer
You can type anything you want to be displayed at the bottom of your store by following the below steps:
Go to appearance, then Footer
Choose Splitted footer, type the words you want to appear, and you can add payment method icons if you activate online payment on your store, and Save Changes
