Development Director responsibilities
Lead and manage the development team to ensure the timely delivery of software solutions.
Plan, prioritize, and manage development projects to ensure they meet business requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
Create and implement development strategies that align with business objectives and goals, and ensure the effective use of resources.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the development team to ensure that we remain at the forefront of the industry.
Foster collaboration between the development team and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions.
Evaluate the performance of the development team and provide feedback to team members to support individual development and team growth.
Participate in the recruitment process to hire and build a team of talented developers that continuously improve the productivity and quality of software development.

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Development Director or similar role for at least 7-10 years of experience
Strong knowledge of modern software development methodologies, programming languages, and technologies
Experience in project management and team leadership with a track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to lead, manage and motivate the development team
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
Comfortable working collaboratively with other stakeholders, including product owners, project managers, and technical teams
