Responsibilities
Monitor and configure internal systems to ensure optimum performance.
Provide troubleshooting assistance and help with diagnosing technical issues within the system.
Oversee and supervise the operations team members.
Identify the need for updates and upgrades and implement them to the network infrastructure.
Research and install the best firewalls and devices along with the installation of systems and their upgrades.
Assist with the mentoring of new system users and set up accounts and grant relevant access to said users.
Constantly monitor and oversee the performance of servers, including software and hardware to ensure they are operating at an optimum level.
Ensure that new applications are integrated and deployed across the business efficiently and seamlessly.
Ensure technical documentation is up-to-date and stored in an organized manner for future reference.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields
2 years of work experience as a Systems Administrator preferably with supervisory or management experience in the role
Hands-on experience with LAN and WAN networks as well as a good understanding of network switches
Good understanding of system security and different techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to break down problems from the root cause
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with users of all levels and explain complex technical information into simple and understandable terms
Great leadership abilities with experience of managing/supervising a small team
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify trends and patterns
