Responsibilities

  • Identifying the need for development plans and developing them.

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for new starters.

  • Ensuring employee records are kept up to date and in good order.

  • Manage and enroll employees onto various programs such as pension plans, health and life benefits, and any other company incentives.

  • Conducting market research and keeping up to date with industry best practices.

    Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field

  • Minimum of years in an HR-related role preferably within senior/supervisor position

  • Previous experience using an ATS (applicant tracking software) would be an advantage

  • Previous experience or a good general knowledge of HR and benefits administration is highly desirable

  • Effective organizational skills

  • Great interpersonal skills

  • Able to effectively prioritize own workload with good time management

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Able to deescalate conflicts quickly and effectively

  • Good attention to detail

  • Experience with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Effective diary management abilities

  • Good leadership skills
