Teacher Assistant Responsibilities
Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
Supervise students during classroom activities and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
Help with classroom management tasks, such as taking attendance, grading assignments, and organizing materials.
Assist in setting up and maintaining educational materials, equipment, and resources.
Provide support to students with special needs or English language learners.
Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and behavior.
Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom events, field trips, and projects.
Perform administrative tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and record-keeping.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
Completion of a teacher assistant training program or certification is an added advantage.
First aid and CPR certification may be required depending on the educational facility.
Clear criminal background check and child abuse clearance.
Knowledge of child development theories and classroom management techniques.
