Responsibilities:
Conduct research in theoretical and experimental physics, including the design and execution of experiments.
Develop mathematical models to analyze experimental data and to predict the behavior of physical systems.
Collaborate with other team members to design and develop new technologies and products.
Write scientific papers and present research findings at conferences and other professional events.
Work with team members to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Supervise and mentor junior staff members, including graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of physics and apply new knowledge to research projects.
Participate in grant writing and fundraising activities to secure funding for research projects.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

Requirements:
Ph.D. in Physics or a related field
5+ years of experience in theoretical and experimental physics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with designing and conducting experiments and analyzing data
Knowledge of mathematical modeling and simulation techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write scientific papers and give presentations
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members
Ability to secure funding through grant writing and fundraising activities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
Experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting
