Responsibilities

  • Work with all children within the school to either teach health classes or have one on one appointments with students to discuss their health and wellbeing.

  • Regularly weigh students, and speak about their diets to monitor their weight and ensure they stay healthy.

  • Write and provide reports on children’s health and well-being progress.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field

    • Previous experience in a dietitian or nutritionist role would be an advantage

    • Good listening skills

    • Must pass an enhanced background check if one is required

    • Patient, kind, and friendly in nature

    • Excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills

    • Good report writing skills

    • Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office
