Stock controller responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock, avoiding stockouts and overstock situations.
Analyze sales trends, customer demand, and market conditions to forecast future inventory needs and make informed purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with sales team to understand customer demand and ensure that stock levels align with anticipated sales volumes.
Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures, including stock rotation, first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles, and proper storage practices.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures.
Work closely with the warehouse team to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Monitor and track slow-moving or obsolete stock and propose appropriate actions, such as promotional activities or write-offs, to minimize financial losses.
Generate accurate reports on stock levels, stock movements, and stock valuation on a regular basis for management review.
Continuously improve inventory management processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize stock availability.

Required qualifications
