Order picker responsibilities
Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts and order pickers, sorting, scanning, and otherwise preparing shipments for delivery.
Accurately select products from designated areas based on order tickets and ensure batches of orders are processed efficiently.
Verify all items selected for orders match the corresponding paperwork, packing items into boxes or shipping containers as needed
Utilize computer systems to maintain inventory records, process orders, and track shipments, ensuring systems are accurate and up-to-date.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe warehouse, upholding all compliance and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with team members during peak times and to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
Diligently follow company policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy of order processing.

Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2 years minimum experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills both written and oral
Knowledge of inventory software, database management, and order processing
Ability to work flexible hours with weekends and overtime
Ability to work well with others in a team-based environment
Capability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
