Packer responsibilities
Pack and wrap products in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
Check the accuracy of product orders to ensure that there are no discrepancies.
Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure that daily quotas are met.
Operate packaging machinery and equipment carefully and efficiently, following standard operating procedures at all times.
Keep up with production schedules, ensuring that all targets are met within acceptable timeframes.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns immediately.
Participate in safety programs to minimize workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements
Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or a similar industry is preferred, but not required
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
Must possess physical stamina and endurance to pack products for extended periods of time
Must have excellent attention to detail, especially when working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and lift heavy objects of up to 40 pounds
Must be willing to work in a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
