Stock clerk responsibilities

  • Receive and unload inventory shipments in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with other team members, ensuring that all stock-related issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business administration or related field is a plus

    • Proven work experience as a stock clerk or similar role

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    • Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant tools

    • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time

    • The ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment is a plus

    • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
