Stock clerk responsibilities
Receive and unload inventory shipments in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
Inspect incoming merchandise for quality and quantity, ensuring that products are not damaged or missing.
Label and store merchandise on shelves or in designated storage areas.
Issue and record receipts for inventory received and shipped.
Maintain and update inventory records and databases, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
Perform regular inventory checks, ensuring that stock levels are well-maintained.
Process requests for inventory restocking, and prepare stock orders for shipment to retail locations.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Communicate effectively with other team members, ensuring that all stock-related issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business administration or related field is a plus
Proven work experience as a stock clerk or similar role
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant tools
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time
The ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment is a plus
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
