Responsibilities
Collaborate with other department managers on projects and assignments.
Develop efficient plans for the maintenance department in accordance with guidelines and regulations.
Oversee the execution of daily and regular tasks for buildings and machinery in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
Improve operational management arrangements.
Supervise and evaluate work of operations supervisor and other subordinate personnel.
Develop a process to screen, hire, train and/or terminate staff in accordance with company standards and regulations.
Develop a process for appraisals and performance reviews of department staff.
Create an effective schedule for maintenance staff.
Attend regular meetings with department heads to ensure goals and standards are being met.

Requirement
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Management or other related field or equivalent experience and education
Supplemented university courses in management, administration
Minimum of 2 years of experience in management or supervisory roles would be essential
Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and/or construction role would be essential
Excellent organizational skills; being able to work under pressure
Substantial experience with development plans and implementation of procedures
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with persons at all levels
Excellent leadership capabilities with a talent for delegating tasks to the best-suited staff member
