Brokerage and custodial services are primarily provided by our broker-dealer partner - Alpaca Securities LLC (“Alpaca”), a SEC-registered broker/dealer and FINRA/SIPC member.

Pursuant to SEC regulations and FINRA rules, we collect personal information on behalf of Alpaca prior to opening an account. Alpaca complies with the SEC customer identification rule of the U.S. Patriot Act of 2001 (Section 352). This rule requires Alpaca to verify the identity of any person seeking to open an account and to maintain these records.

All customer information is checked against Specially Designated Nationals And Blocked Persons List (SDN), Sanctions and other terrorist organizations lists provided by government agencies. As part of the verification process, additional supporting documentation might be requested. These supporting documents are best provided through our mobile app or by reaching out to us at support@xantoslabs.com.

We take the security of all collected data very seriously. We do not store Social security or Tax IDs in our databases. We do not use customer data for anything other than the fulfillment of our regulatory requirements.
