Scott Studios SS32

The Now Playing configuration area allows you to select an IP or Serial output and a format. For CSRDS we require Format C which can be sent as either a Serial or IP feed. If using an IP output, configure the SS32 system to use the IP of the CSRDS computer and configure the Input Sources tab of the CSRDS to use the IP of the SS32 computer and use the same port number on both computers.

Categories

Depending on the system events may be predefined or are user definable. When a system is selected with user definable categories and Category window will appear. We MUST enter the Music and Commercial categories as defined within the automation system as CSRDS will IGNORE all items not in these categories. Even if you are not sending commercial info to any of the outputs you should enter the commercial categories as CSRDS will use this for “triggered” events as well as for message rotation eliminating and old song title from the display.
